"Keilbasa" is the Polish word for "sausage". Keilbasa may be prepared many different ways, contain pork, beef, veal or fowl and may be grilled, smoked, pan simmered or even at room temperature.
The Kielbasa Grillowa (grree-LOH-vah) is known as the "BBQ" Sausage. It is made with pork, traditional herbs and spices and is smoked over hard woods. The Keilbasa Grillowa lends itself to being cooked quickly on the grill or simmered. This classic sausage is slightly harder smoked than store bought keilbasa and is formed into more manageable links. This sausage can be eaten on a bun or in a dish with sauerkraut.
